ECONOMIC STIMULUS INCREASES MONTHLY LIMIT FOR
TRANSIT/VANPOOL BENEFITS UNDER QUALIFIED TRANSPORTATION PLAN

Effective March 1, 2009, The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 will include a provision that increases the amount of transit pass and vanpooling benefits to $230 per month. Employers should inform their employees of this increase and provide them with a new election form.

The monthly Parking reimbursement maximum for 2009 will remain at $230.
